Thanks again for the help Lab. Just back from shift so now going to bed, will try again later and revert if anything found. Nero 7 won't work with Vista?? At least now I can burn, don't need the fancy toys. So Lite will work for me, I just need basic software to backup my data, that's what I'm primarily interested in.

Got Lite working, Nero Express. This topic is now closed to further replies. Nero Express allows new users to feel comfortable by having an effective wizard walk them through the process of recording audio, video and data CDs. You dont have to apply any hacks or edits or reboot into safe mode to install as an administrator.
